The slower pace, the weather watching, unique light and landscapes, crisp autumn, winter and early spring days and nights- the Highlands have much to offer outside the peak holiday months.
This is particularly true when cocooned in a cosy and architecturally unique house – log fires, panoramic views, sauna, luxury bath await after bracing or leisurely walks either from the doorstep of the Stonehouses or further afield. Minutes away in the village are relaxed and quiet pubs and restaurants to enjoy, with book and craft shops to browse in. Music and arts continue through much of this period when the village becomes a quieter but more intimate place to stay.
