Seldom a week goes by when there is not live music in the pubs and arts centres in Ullapool. Renowned Scottish musicians and up and coming national (and even international) talent make Ullapool a stop on Scottish tours. In summer season, Christmas and New Year there will be numerous live bands to enjoy most weeks. Regular exhibitions are shown at the Ullapool Arts Centre, An Talla Solais, and Ceilidh Place and there are several small artist run studios to discover when out and about.
Ullapool benefits from a range of high quality shops. We have two well stocked independent bookshops and a number of local craft shops.
